Our fifth picture book, "Gentleman Sam", is based on a true story at Hart Farm. The story of an elderly black Labrador, called Sam who came to live at Hart Farm but wasn't expected to live for many months. He fitted in with all the other animals who were devastated when eventually Sam died.
Written by Penny Hartdale and 11 years old Emily Cammack and illustrated by Rob Keep, it will be popular with children aged 3 - 7,
